“WHAT IS THE GOLDEN PILGRIMAGE?”

The Golden Pilgrimage is a deepening journey. Most people were never taught how to truly and deeply get to know themselves.  As we mature in life we come to realize that self-knowledge is the compass that informs every choice, relationship, creative act, and moment of leadership.  Some will lead examined lives and some will stay on the surface. This course was created for the deep divers.

This dogma-free program restores that missing education so your life can unfold with clarity, purpose, and grounded power. This course work has been understood by Fae’s students ranging from age 9 to 90! All ages and genders welcome.

“WHAT WILL I GAIN?”

Through a consistent daily practice, you begin to reclaim the truth of your embodied presence. In season one your inner confidence will stabilize. The habitual program of self-abandonment begins to lose its grip as a more coherent, self-honoring way. In season two your sensual integrity and creative power will deeply awaken.
Season three will propel you out into the world to begin to share your is-ness! Season four will support you in the beginning phases of your legacy.

“There are gifts inside your sensitivity, but you have to slow down to receive them.”

— Fae La Rose

Let's go!

Inside Skool, you will be creating “The Book of U” over time, week by week. “The Book of U” is a living collection of journal entries, notes, and exercises that unfold as you explore deeper layers of self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and subtle body intelligence. Each written entry takes about 3 to 10 minutes to read per week. From there, you are invited to journal and reflect on the material over the course of the week, or for as long as feels aligned. Some entries may feel especially resonant and naturally invite longer contemplation. You may choose to sit with certain reflections for two to three weeks. This process is intentionally non-linear. At the end of the year, you will have a beautiful, cohesive compilation that reflects who you are at your core, the gifts you carry, how those gifts serve the world, how your nervous system is best supported, and your growing capacity to enter the deeper waters of intimacy with yourself and others. You may choose to print and bind your Book of You at the end of the year, or even get creative with it and transform it into a children’s book to carry its wisdom forward. In Skool you will also have access to The Golden Library which will be built up with yoga and gentle martial arts practices over the span of 2026.

  • The Golden Pilgrimage unfolds layer by layer across a full year. Each month builds upon the last, guiding participants through the architecture of the subtle body in a way that is structured, experiential, and deeply integrated.

This work is taught through a living modern day synthesis of:

    All 8 Limbs of Yoga:
Ethical foundations, physical practice, breath, sensory refinement, concentration, meditation, energy-hygiene and integration into daily life

    Gentle Martial Arts:
Cultivating grounded strength, coordination, discipline, and calm responsiveness

    Taoist Internal Practices:
Organ awareness, life-force cultivation, boundary integrity, and energetic circulation

    Gene Keys Deepening:

Shadow, gift, and virtue work applied directly to lived experience

    Subtle Body Arts:

Chakra systems, energetic mapping, perception refinement, and intuitive intelligence

    Ayurvedic wisdom:
Rhythms, constitution, digestion, and sustainable vitality

    Longevity and nervous-system-informed biohacking:

Supporting resilience, detox pathways, and long-term health

    ———————————

The year progresses as a gradual ascent through the subtle body. Each month focuses on a specific layer, beginning with grounding, safety, and nervous system regulation, and continuing toward clarity, expression, intuition, and integrated awareness.

Practices are revisited and refined throughout the year, allowing insights to mature and deepen. Weekly sessions introduce new material while reinforcing established foundations.

By the end of the year, participants embody a coherent, integrated practice that supports steadiness, vitality, discernment, energy-hygiene and an ongoing relationship with subtle-body intelligence.

    • Those called to rise through sincerity, practice, and inner refinement

    • Practitioners committed to embodied growth and spiritual integrity

    • Leaders and creatives who want to ground in soft power and clarity of purpose

    • Those willing to practice consistently

    • Those looking for quick fixes or surface level transformation

    • People unwilling to commit to consistent weekly practice

    • Anyone seeking information without embodiment or discipline

  • In a time when many modern teachers are oriented toward visibility and growth metrics, Fae has remained devoted to the quieter, ongoing work of inner development and natural expansion.

She cares deeply about the evolution of each of her students and clients, while continuing her own daily practice of learning, refinement, and self-inquiry. In her world, the roles of teacher and student are fluid; Each encounter becomes an opportunity for mutual insight and growth.

Working with Fae feels like being guided by someone who knows the inner landscape because she has actually been there.

She teaches from lived knowledge that has matured into wisdom. She enjoys the journey and remains fully present with what arises along the way, creating a sense of trust, steadiness, and quiet confidence as you move forward together.

She genuinely looks forward to meeting you and supporting the next phase of your path.

She holds her own spiritual lineage with integrity while creating a spacious, respectful field where students are free to bring, integrate, or rest within their own religious or spiritual frameworks as they practice.

    8 LIMBS OF YOGA

Fae comes from one of the strongest classical yoga lineages in the world, the Bihar School of Yoga, founded in 1964 by Swami Satyananda Saraswati in Bihar, India. This lineage is known for its depth in yoga nidra, kriya yoga, and its integrated transmission of Tantra, Vedanta, and classical yoga.

Fae’s teacher, Rama Vernon, studied directly with the masters of this lineage in India. In the 70’s, she brought over one hundred teachers to her home in San Francisco, playing a foundational role in introducing classical yoga to the United States and creating the first Yoga Journal. Along with her daughter Mira Murphy and longtime student Ruth Hartung, she later founded Seven Centers in Sedona, Arizona, where Fae studied and deepened her devotion to consciousness cultivation.

Yoga’s history includes complex human stories, and the teachings themselves continue to demonstrate their capacity to build awareness, coherence, and consciousness through lived practice. These traditions carry an ethical responsibility… Students and teachers alike are asked to embody integrity, discernment, and virtue in daily life. The lineage remains alive through practice, presence, and continual self honoring discipline.

Fae also studied Sanskrit and Tai Chi in Manhattan and Yogic Philosophy with Will Duncan in Sedona, Arizona. Will is a global teacher, meditation guide, hospice chaplain, and lecturer whose work integrates Eastern and Western wisdom with modern psychology. His training spans Gelugpa, Zen, and Theravadin Buddhism, Vedanta, Yoga, Christian mysticism, Jungian and Eco psychology, and long term apprenticeship within traditional lineages. Known for his warmth and humor, he teaches through inquiry and dialogue, inviting students into direct insight.

GENTLE MARTIAL ARTS & TAOIST TRADITIONS

Mantak Chia’s teachings arise from ancient Chinese Taoist lineages, transmitted through internal alchemy practices including Nei Gong, Qi Gong, organ cultivation, sexual alchemy, and longevity work. These teachings were later synthesized into the Universal Healing Tao, now practiced worldwide.

Fae studied with Mantak Chia and Gillian Reid at Tao Gardens in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Yoga trained her inward awareness. Taoist practice strengthened life force, energetic boundaries, and longevity stamina.

Through Duke Amayo’s transmission in Brooklyn, the Flower Form was passed to Fae La Rose, who has since woven it into a living practice. Drawing from decades of study, she interlaces the traditional martial sequence with Taoist alchemy, the yogic wisdom of the Bihar School of Yoga, and the virtue teachings of the I Ching.

What has emerged is The Diamond Practice: a sacred fusion that supports strength, emotional healing, and nervous system regulation through embodied discipline.

Fa Kuen | 花拳 | Flower Fist | Flower Form (Jow Ga Kung Fu)

Flower Fist (Flower Form) is a Jow Ga form attributed to Jow Biu, one of the legendary Five Tigers of the Jow family. Emerging in early twentieth century China, the form blended multiple hand techniques into a fluid, expressive sequence, an embodied offering of grace and power.

In Chinese martial culture, the flower represents rhythm, fluidity, and hidden strength. Flower Form carries this symbolism through movement that expresses beauty, precision, and potency as a unified language. In opera houses and martial circles of the nineteen twenties and thirties, movement itself was a transmission: martial arts expressed as art, medicine, and prayer.

Jow Ga integrates three primary influences:

    1. Hung Gar: Rooted strength, deep stances, breath, discipline, and moral virtue

    2. Choy Gar: Agility, speed, angular footwork, and strategic responsiveness

    3. Northern Shaolin: Long range kicks and athletic expression

Together, these elements form a complete martial language, written through the body with clarity, power, and grace.

  • The Golden Pilgrimage supports charitable initiatives.

The NeuroHaven Collective is the organization committed to protection, restoration, and long-term capacity building for individuals whose lives have been shaped by systemic harm and nervous system strain.

The NeuroHaven Collective, founded by Jess Lee aka Fae La Rose, is a 12-step integrative developmental program created for individuals whose nervous systems evolved under prolonged stress, sensory intensity, or relational instability.

A portion of revenue from The Golden Pilgrimage is allocated to fund access to the NeuroHaven 12-Step Program for survivors of domestic violence, while also supporting the long-term vision of creating land-based sanctuary and safe housing.

NeuroHaven works to support men and women whose survival adaptations require specialized care, time, and attuned structure.

A significant number of survivors of domestic violence also live with heightened sensory sensitivity or non-obvious disability.

    NeuroHaven Mission Statement

NeuroHaven exists to provide protection through structure and care through precision. Resources are directed toward stabilization, safety, and capacity building for individuals whose nervous systems require time, attunement, and intelligent support to sustain meaningful participation in life. We invest in nervous system restoration and fund long-term resilience.

The 12-Step Sovereignty Program Serves Individuals With

    •  Neurodivergent cognition

    •  High sensory sensitivity

    •  Invisible or non-obvious stress adaptations

    •  Non-ordinary perception or heightened intuitive awareness

    •  Exceptional perceptual intelligence

    •  Exceptional creative capacity

    •  Nervous systems shaped by early survival and limited protection

This population is often highly capable, deeply perceptive, and structurally under-supported. NeuroHaven’s methodology emphasizes support without pathologization. The work centers dignity, safety, and sovereignty within physiological conditions that require increased attunement and developmental pacing.

The 12-Step Sovereignty Program functions as a developmental milestone rather than a clinical intervention. The process supports the gradual rebuilding of capacity, agency, and embodied trust through structured integration.

    Program Orientation

    •  Nervous system re-attunement and stabilization

    •  Permission to exist authentically within communal and professional environments

    •  Sophisticated understanding of intelligent survival adaptations

    •  Self-authorship and personal meaning-making

    •  Development of internal authority and interpretive agency

    What the Program Is Not

    •  Rehabilitation services

    •  Substance addiction programming

    •  Trauma-focused processing models

    •  Victim-identity frameworks

    Who NeuroHaven Serves

NeuroHaven supports individuals whose systems adapted early and intelligently to instability, including those with lived experience of:

    •  Complex autoimmune conditions

    •  Autistic and other neurodivergent profiles

    •  Early parental separation or loss

    •  Orphanhood

    •  Parental betrayal following neurodivergence diagnosis

    •  Chronic emotional or physical parental absence

    •  Family systems impacted by addiction or volatility

    •  Multiple sclerosis (MS)

    •  Lyme disease

    •  Lupus

    •  Advanced Hashimoto’s disease

    •  POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome)

    •  EDS (Ehlers–Danlos syndrome)

    •  Systemic exploitation, including trafficking and coercive control

Within NeuroHaven, individuals are engaged according to what they are capable of building, stewarding, and perceiving. Identity is shaped through capacity and coherence rather than history or diagnosis.

    Common Lived Experiences

Participants frequently share patterns that are misunderstood by conventional systems, including:

    •  Being perceived as slow despite deep cognitive processing

    •  Exposure to ridicule or harm related to processing speed

    •  Misinterpretation as disengaged or incapable

    •  High intelligence paired with delayed output

    •  Acute sensitivity to integrity, coherence, and incongruence

    •  Social exclusion related to refusal of artificial performance

    •  Chronic nervous system activation in overstimulating environments

    •  Panic responses when stability is disrupted

    •  Digestive fragility and nutrient assimilation challenges

    •  Disrupted metabolic rhythms

    •  Fatigue associated with translating inner reality into unsupported systems

These experiences reflect heightened perception operating within misaligned environments. Society frequently relies on these individuals while failing to accommodate them.

If you know someone who may benefit from these teachings or from this level of attuned, long-term support, we invite you to reach out. Referrals, inquiries, and conversations are welcomed with care and discretion. ABOUT THE TEACHER

Fae La Rose did not arrive to these teachings by accident. She rose into her power and depth through fire. Coming from a deeply challenging childhood and living with daily seizures in her late twenties that left her barely able to speak in full sentences, Fae was initiated early into the realities of trauma, neuro-sensitivity, and nervous system survival.

With little external support, she leaned into practice as a path back to center: studying the body, consciousness, and vitality with the devotion of someone whose life depended on it. Because it did.

Over time, repetition, and fierce curiosity, her practices became medicine. Her body stabilized and her nervous system began to learn safety for the first time. Her true presence came forward as it typically does with consistent practice. What began as survival continues to mature into mastery.

Today, Fae La Rose is a world-traveling Integration Practitioner, Consciousness Artist, Wellness Architect, Longevity Chef, Detox Guide, Yogi, Martial Artist, and teacher of Yogic Philosophy, Taoist Arts, and the Gene Keys.

With over two decades of lived experience, Fae is a polymath of the nervous system, fluent across disciplines that bridge science, art, spirit and embodied wisdom.

MORE ABOUT FAE

Rooted in the Bihar School of Yoga and informed by Taoist alchemy with Mantak Chia, gentle martial arts in NYC with Duke Amayo, the profound work of the I-ching & Gene Keys, and longevity science, Fae La Rose teaches practices that register directly in the body. Her work steadies the nervous system, clarifies perception, refines energy, and supports ethical spiritual maturation through lived experience.

Her path unfolded in temples, dojos, kitchens, healing centers, caves, artist communities, retreat centers, and long seasons of solitude… where life itself became the curriculum. In the early 2000’s, her sensitive health led her to become an early explorer of biohacking and deep organ detox, long before it entered mainstream wellness culture.

Let it be known there is most definitely a spoonful of sugar to help the medicine go down, when it comes to Fae. Her teaching style carries both precision and play.

Fae once moved to New York City with little money and one known contact. With her final bit of money, she ate cheap carbs and enrolled in two improv training at Upright Citizens Brigade and The People’s Improv Theater. She was determined to find the laugh in her silver-lining.

It was in NYC that comedy revealed itself as spiritual practice. She felt like comedy was honesty made visible and vulnerability made joyful. That devotion to levity has never left her.

She weaves levity with depth, humor with rigor, and reverence with humanity. Laughter is sacred medicine in her world. Embodiment is foundational. Virtue is the measure of practice. She speaks in archetypes and cooks like a chemist with impeccable flavor balance.

She quotes poets, teaches Qi Gong on mountaintops, and understands timing as both an art and a science. Her mind is a museum, her heart a hearth, her body a compass, and her spirit a constellation in motion.

Her students and clients have described Fae as carrying a medicine pouch in one hand and a banana peel in the other.

Her work is precise, tender, and disarmingly human, which you will hear about in her testimonials below.
